The Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare the KC-46A MOB 6 EIS was published in the Federal Register on April 14, 2022 initiating a 30-day public scoping period for the KC-46A MOB 6 EIS. Newspaper notices announcing the intent to prepare an EIS were also published in the Tampa Bay Times Hillsborough and the Pinellas in the MacDill AFB area, and in the Spokane Review and the Pacific Inlander in the Fairchild AFB area. To allow the public additional time to review the public scoping materials and provide comments, the DAF extended the scoping period by an additional 30 days. Final Noise Study for the KC-46A MOB 6 EIS
(Volume I)
This Noise Model Operational Data Documentation (NMODD) was prepared in support of the Draft EIS and models aircraft noise associated with the proposed beddown of 24 KC-46A Pegasus aircraft, replacing 24 PAA of KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, at either MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, or at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington.
